Contact Us
Whether you're a parent looking for support, a professional wanting to refer a family, or someone who'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you.
How to Reach Us
We're a volunteer-run charity, so we don't have a staffed office with regular hours. The best way to get in touch is by email. We aim to respond within two working days, though during school holidays it may take a little longer.
Our Base
Croydon, South London, England
We hold meetings and some events at venues around Croydon. Please note we don't have a drop-in centre — get in touch first so we can arrange a suitable time.
Monthly Parent Group
First Saturday of each month, 10:00 – 12:00
Held at a venue in central Croydon. More about our parent groups.
For Professionals
If you're a teacher of the deaf, audiologist, speech and language therapist, or health visitor, we welcome referrals. You can send families our way directly or email us for information packs to share with parents. We're also available to deliver deaf awareness sessions for schools and early years settings — just get in touch to discuss what would work.
Safeguarding
Croydon Deaf Children's Society takes safeguarding seriously. All volunteers who work directly with children undergo DBS checks, and we follow the procedures set out by the Charity Commission. If you have a safeguarding concern, please contact us by email or speak to a committee member at any event.
Complaints
We hope you won't need to complain, but if something goes wrong we want to know. Please email us with the details and we'll investigate promptly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Charity Commission.
